If you’re dealing with high-density thermal loads, you know the struggle of getting things up to temperature quickly. That’s why we built these. At 2000W, we’re packing a massive amount of energy into a narrow quartz tube. It’s shortwave infrared, which is fancy talk for “it hits the target directly.” It doesn’t waste time heating up the air around it; it just goes straight to work. Power and Size The 610mm length gives you a very specific heating footprint. We settled on 2000W because it keeps the heat flux balanced across the whole tube. But here’s a heads-up: when you run these at full blast, that quartz gets hot. Fast. **Keep your reflectors clean.**Seriously. If they’re dusty or grimey, the heat bounces back into the tube, and you’ll burn out your lamps way sooner than you should. Why the white coating? Standard quartz tubes can be a bit aggressive. They throw out a harsh, clear beam that often leaves “hot spots” on your material—basically, some parts get scorched while others are barely warm. We fixed that by adding a white ceramic coating. It diffuses the radiation, spreading the heat out evenly. It feels more like a warm glow than a laser beam. Just keep in mind that because the heat is diffused, it behaves a bit differently than a clear tube. You might need to tweak your dwell time to get the result you’re looking for. Getting them into your machine These are designed to be simple drop-in replacements for things like PET blowing machines or industrial ovens. We used standard connectors, so you won’t be fighting with the wiring. One last thing. 2000W in a 610mm frame creates a lot of localized heat. Make sure your housing and cooling fans can actually handle the rise in temperature. If your ventilation is sluggish, the ends of the lamps will degrade. Keep your connections tight and your voltage steady. No flickering, no surprises—just consistent heat.
