We use high-purity quartz glass because it can handle the shock of being turned on and off rapidly without cracking. For most wood coatings, shortwave IR is the way to go. It punches through the finish quickly, curing it from the bottom up. And since we know you probably already have a setup, we offer different connectors and custom lengths. They should slide right into your existing rigs without a headache.
A quick heads-up on setup
You’re getting the same heat flux as the expensive stuff. But remember: when you cram high wattage into a small space, your exhaust system has to work harder. If you decide to crank up the power to speed up your production line, just double-check your ventilation. You need to pull that ambient heat away, or you might end up warping your fixtures.
